After the thrilling battles that took place during the auditions in all three regions of Malawi, the survivors of the Sprite Urban Xpression will battle it out for the last time to see who the real deal is in the Dance, Rap, and DJ category at Robin’s Park in Blantyre this Saturday.

Representing the three regions in the categories are Beenie, Jazzment and Tchizzol from Mzuzu Trick, George Tran and Young from Lilongwe and Skip, Young Jacko and Frashu from Blantyre.

Coca-Cola senior brands manager Titha Mbilizi says the show will be like no other with a lot of hip hop performances, dance activities and a lot of goodies.

“We have created a place where people can come and chill out, but most of all, have fun while enjoying expressing themselves,” said Mbilizi.

She said Sprite creates an energy that allows one to challenge one self and reach one’s full potential. It is a brand that is all about independence, self-expression and is daring.

Added Mbilizi: “This year’s urban Xpression Tour backs this up with literally thousands of young people both boys and girls across Malawi, taking bold steps, showing us that they have what it takes at the auditions that we took on the road.”

Spicing the event will be Malawi’s urban musicians Diktator, Rina, Dare Devils, Desert Eagle and souLamp. The event will also see a surprise collaboration that will only be revealed at venue.

First place winners will walk away with a grand prize of K200 000 and there will also be consolidation prizes such as T-shirts, caps, bags, and sweat bands for runners-ups.
